Matariki Day

Matariki Day

Today we had a lovely Matariki Day at Paihia School.
George, Elias, Kenzie, Kaura and John-William came to school at 6 o'clock in the morning with their families. We all walked to the beach to see the Matariki stars.

  1. Kia ora Te Awa, it’s Dayton from Te Ngahere. I like your blog post about you going to see the Matariki stars. I wasn’t there when you went but I think the Matariki stars would be cool to see. When Stephen’s mum made star cookies for your class, that reminded me of my first Matariki in 2014. I wonder what was there at breakfast.
    Hope you had fun.

    1. Thank you Dayton for your neat comment. We had toast and bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast as well as baked beans and cereal. It was delicious.

Could you see very well in the dark or was it too dark to see?
How was the breakfast? Was it good?
