Our play dough recipe is "fail-safe" and can last up to a year if kept in an air tight container. We need to thank our local kindergarten (Paihia/Waitangi) for the recipe. We hope you make some and have fun at home. Ingredients:
6 cups of flour
3 cups of salt
1/2 cup of cooking oil
The lid of a small container of cream of tartar
6 to 7 cups of boiling water
Mix dry stuff. Mix wet stuff (dissolve and stir food colouring in boiling water). Add wet mixture (carefully because it's hot) to dry mixture. Have fun mixing the warm play dough with fingers to make sure all flour is dissolved. Cool, and store in an air tight container.
