Reading/Creating

Freedom, Karaitiana and Mahia have been reading the book "The Boat".
After we read the book, we created boats like the boats in the book. We used cardboard boxes, string and coloured paper.
Stevie-Ray from Te Tahuna class helped us. Here he is with Mahia.

The Minstrel and his wife came to our school last week to teach us about  staying safe when we go fishing and how to care for Te Moana

We learnt to wear a life jacket and everyone needs to wear a life jacket.

There are signs in the bush to show us the planting Paihia School pupils have done each year.
