Unicorn Day

Lots of people brought their Unicorns to school today. Indigo also brought utensils and Nicky brought his umbrella.

New slippers

We have been given beautiful, cozy, warm slippers to keep our feet warm in class. Thank you very much to the Paihia School P.T.A for doing this for us.

Learning about the letter Uu

This week we are learning about the letter U. We are going to have a Unicorn day this Friday. It was very lucky that Lily-Belle brought her unicorn to school today to get us started with our learning.

Matariki Kites

This week we have been learning about Matariki. 
We read the story "The seven kites of Matariki"

Then we made kites. The beautiful kites in the story were our inspiration.

We went to look at the kite in our School Whare.
