Learning about healthy kai with Whaea Gina:

Whaea Gina taught us about the four main food groups (fruits and vegetables, milk and milk products, grain foods, protein).

We learnt that it is important to eat a variety of foods and a variety of colours (e.g red - beetroot, yellow - corn).

Rainy Days

It is a very rainy day today. Litia found a huge worm before school. We took a photo for Litia's writing book and then we returned the worm back to the garden. We talked about why worms come out on rainy days.

Letter Work: M

Marshmallows!!

We have been learning about the letter Mm. We have learnt how to write the letter, read the letter and say the  sound the letter makes. To celebrate our learning we ate some marshmallows.

Letter Work: N (Noodles!!!)

We are learning about the letter Nn (recognising the letter, writing the letter and saying the sound the letter makes). On Friday we all tasted a selection of noodles. Here are Haijah, Litia, Wynton, Aria, Sam, Eden, Freedom, Jayden and Aura-Jean enjoying a warm cup of NOODLES.
