We have been learning about relationships and using Te Reo to describe relationships. We read the story the Kuia and the spider and learnt the words Kuia and Mokopuna.

We have all made a koru picture to represent our whanau. They are going to be put into our School Whare.

Cup cake stories

On Wednesday Alex's Mum accidentally made too many cup cakes. They were delicious and beautiful!. Thank you Pauline.

Buddy Reading with Te Moana

Teina/Tuakana Collaboration

Te Awa and Te Moana read collaboratively together as Teina and Tuakana. Each child has to share their learning goal then give feedback to their buddy about their reading. Te Moana enjoy sharing their novels with their buddies. The older students are so impressed by the improvement of reading fluency of their buddies. 

Tama the kitten visits school.

We are learning to write about something we have done.

Mackenzie's story about "The Rain"

I hate the rain because I love the sun and because it is better to play in the sun. I blow balloons because I have a party in my room and I put my own disco light then we have a party. I don’t like sleeping when it is raining.
